How Internet Communications Inc.
Fixed Wireless Works

Internet Communications uses fixed wireless communication technology which refers to equipment that is stationary (like a radio mounted on your house). These are not to be confused with what many refer to as “satellite dishes.” We are not a satellite-based service provider as our equipment connects to local towers near your service location.

This technology isn’t to be mistaken for that notably terrible experience so many know from satellite-based services, or mobile devices like smartphones, and hotspots that provides internet on the go. Our latency is on-par with a number of wired networks which is something to be proud of! For those of you who don’t know, latency is a measurement of the time it takes for a communication to travel from one place to another. Good latency is most important for things like online gaming and real-time communications like video chat.

Check for Availability
1.

Discovery – Home Survey

Location Qualification – We must first verify that the location you wish to get service has a reasonable chance of success. This helps better ensure that no one’s time is wasted where possible. We know it can be frustrating to wait weeks for installation, only to be let down with bad news

2.

Picking Your Plan

Scheduling – Once your location has been verified for feasibility of service, we proceed to collect full payment for the service equipment and then we can schedule your installation appointment.

3.

Installation & Going Online

Survey / Installation – On the day of the installation, our field technicians arrive to perform a full site survey to help ensure the best possible service delivery. Once the technicians have found a solution, they proceed to review the plan with the customer before executing.
